THE DETAIL BEHIND YOUR CALENDAR

Method & sources

The report lists candidate calendar windows. The report engine does not accept period dates or cycle length. The private calculator adds your actual cycle dates on your device and shows the individual checks.

Traditional sources

Our rule register uses supplied transcriptions of Garbhādhāna-saṃskāra, Chapter 3 (pages 45–59) and Appendix 3 (pages 252–257). Author, edition and publication details remain unverified; this is an incomplete bibliography.

The calendar rules refer to Chapter 3, pages 48–56, and Appendix 3, page 257. The cycle selector follows the cycle-length table on page 52. Other passages conflict with this table, so matches are guidance for review. The day boundary is 90 minutes before sunrise at the report location.

Astronomical calculations

We calculate locally with Astronomy Engine 2.1.19, an MIT-licensed library. Its authors compare the library against JPL Horizons and NOVAS. That upstream validation does not validate our traditional rules or the complete report.

NASA/JPL Horizons is an astronomical reference. Report generation does not call NASA endpoints, and NASA does not endorse these reports.

What the calendar checks

Sunrise tithi and nakshatra screen each date. Evening windows from 20:00 to midnight are sampled once per minute for tithi, nakshatra, lagna, yoga, karana, tārābala, candrabala and eighth-house occupancy. Both Male and Female checks must pass the encoded hard rules. Sankranti dates are excluded.

The model uses a linearised Lahiri ayanāṃśa from J2000, whole-sign houses and a mean lunar node. The fictional Delhi example uses a fixed UTC offset. Tula and Kumbha lagnas are excluded pending resolution of their conditional rules; the demo also conservatively excludes Aries.

What still needs review

Planetary aspects, observances, fasting, festivals, śrāddha and family exclusions are not fully evaluated. Source interpretations and conditional rules remain disputed. Exact transitions can fall within a displayed minute. Independent validation is required before personal reports are sold.

These are preliminary traditional calendar results. They do not establish fertility, predict conception or health outcomes, guarantee an auspicious result, or select a child’s sex.

Your private cycle check

Period dates and cycle length stay in your browser tab. The PDF link contains encrypted report windows and checks, without period dates or birth inputs. When you open it, our Cloudflare service authenticates and decrypts only that report payload. Cycle calculations then run on your device. Anyone with the complete link can open the report; keep it private.
